Entre-Deux-Mers
Entre-Deux-Mers designates the part of land between the Garonne and the Dordogne rivers. You will be delighted by its hilly landscape with vineyards, woods and meadows, wine-growing castles, Romanesque churches, villages and country houses.
The Sauve-Majeure abbey, Rauzan castle or the wonderful Mauriac house, Malagar, are a must.
And the Roger Lapébie cycle path (55 km), an old railway line that links Sauveterre-de-Guyenne to Bordeaux.
Bordeaux Wine Trip
Located in the heart of the Gironde, Entre-Deux-Mers is an invitation to discover the art of wine-making. A land of the art of living, gastronomy is also part of the traditions.
When we speak of Entre-deux-Mers, we immediately think of the dry white wine that we taste with oysters or as an aperitif, but you are here in the largest wine region of Bordeaux.
Château Guiton has obtained the Vignobles & Découvertes label: we will be happy to show you our selection of local wines and advise you for tastings and cellar visits.
Bordeaux & St Emilion
45 km away from the campsite, Bordeaux is a must see: do not miss the Place de la Bourse, the Saint André cathedral, the water mirror, the Grand Theater, the Chartrons district or the Cité du Vin and its magnificent architecture reminiscent of a carafe.
Only 20 km away from the campsite, St Emilion and its monolithic church and the first vineyard listed by Unesco as a World Heritage Site expect you.
